Engineering Manager-Commercial Products

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Manufacturing Engineering function, ensuring effective management and development of the engineering team. Lead the Engineering departments in alignment with plant objectives, operational priorities, and business goals. Oversee all aspects of manufacturing engineering support, including equipment utilization, waste elimination, process control, commissioning and training processes, and customer corrective action implementation. Partner with Production teams to support execution of the manufacturing plan and achievement of volume, quality, and sales targets. Apply a strong combination of technical expertise and project management skills to guide capital investments and drive process improvement initiatives .. Develop and lead manufacturing technology advancement projects focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, process optimization, and automation efficiency. Actively participate in product development activities by evaluating manufacturing process paths and ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM). Support the development, implementation, and effectiveness monitoring of visual factory and lean management tools. Ensure the development, maintenance, and deployment of standardized work instructions as a core element of continuous training and operational consistency. Demonstrate hands-on leadership in root cause analysis, corrective action development, and implementation of sustainable solutions. Manage and execute the plant’s Capital Improvement budget in alignment with strategic priorities. Lead the execution of the plant’s Cost Reduction and Productivity Improvement initiatives. Provide engineering support for production ramp-up activities and capacity expansions.
