The role coordinates Safe Harbor calculations in accordance with Mexican tax regulations, based on the applicable methodology of either 6.9% of assets or 6.5% of operating costs, and supports the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and annual tax filings. In addition, the position serves as a liaison with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance. This role also leads the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting, providing financial modeling and scenario analysis to support operational decision-making. Responsibilities include monitoring capital expenditures (CAPEX), ensuring proper asset capitalization, and analyzing working capital and cash flow performance to maintain financial stability. The position oversees internal and external audit processes and acts as the primary liaison between the plant and corporate finance teams, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reporting packages to corporate headquarters.
